Last chance for Lionel Sanders to be in Kona
The Canadian triathlete Lionel Sanders will participate this weekend in the IRONMAN Copenhagen in what will be your last chance to qualify for the IRONMAN of Hawaii.
After failing to do so in the IRONMAN Cour d 'Alene Last June Sanders will try again in Denmark, along with many other triathletes who will spend their last bullet before kona.
Lionel is the big favorite but after having competed in the Tri battle against Jan Frodeno do a few weeks, we will have to see their performance in the test.
On the starting list are triathletes like Kristian Hogenhaug (classified), Giulio Molinari, Lukasz Wojt, Jesper Svensson, David Mcnamee (classified) or Patrik Nilson among others.
In addition, there will be the Spanish Clemente Alonso who will seek to give the bell in the competition.
The test awards 2 slots for Kona, so it will surely be very close from start to finish
