El Mediterranean Triathlon Valencia 2024 (MTRI Valencia) is just around the corner, and this is your last chance to be part of one of the most important events on the triathlon calendar in Spain.
With just a few days left to register, it's time to secure your place at this authentic sports festival that will take place from 14 to September 15.
The MTRI Valencia 2024 has been designed to offer a unique experience for both professional and amateur athletes, with a variety of competitions to suit all levels and objectives.
From the popular Sprint and Supersprint events to the Olympic distance queen event, the event promises two days full of adrenaline and excitement in the Valencia.
Modalities and distances
On Saturday, September 14, the event will begin with the Sprint and Supersprint tests. Both modalities allow participation both individually and in pairs, and have become a classic for those looking for an exciting but manageable challenge.
The Sprint event, which will also be the Regional Paratriathlon Championship, will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by the Supersprint at the same time.
In the afternoon, the spotlights will be on the Triathlon World Cup, where the Elite Women and Men categories will compete in the Sprint distance, at 17:00 p.m. and 19:00 p.m. respectively.
On Sunday, September 15, it is the turn of the Olympic distance, where nearly 600 athletes will compete in 1,5 km of swimming, 40 km of cycling and 10 km of running.
