Triathlon returns to Menorca with the Son Bou Olympic Triathlon

This next May 1, the second edition of the Son Bou Olympic Triathlon

The test offers 2 distances to be chosen by the participants, having an ideal Super Sprint distance to debut in this sport.

• Olympic: 1.500 m swimming, 41 km cycling, 10 km running
• Super Sprint: 350 m swimming, 14 km cycling, 2,8 km running

Circuits

The swim segment will take place at the Son Bou beach, right in front of its beautiful basilica in a 1-lap circuit.

The cycling segment will travel the area on a 13,8-kilometer circuit where participants will enjoy the beautiful views.

The test will end with the race on foot between El Prat and Son Bou beach, finishing next to the Hotel Sol Milanos Pingüinos Son Bou.

Direct place for the Spanish Championship

In addition, the first 3 classified in both the male and female categories will obtain a direct pass to the Spanish Triathlon Championship that will be held in Banyoles (Girona) in September.

The test closes today at 23:59 the registrations for the 2 distances, so you will have to hurry if you want to participate

The Triathlô Olímpic Son Bou is organized by the Elitechip company and has the support of the Balearic Triathlon Federation (Fetrib) and the collaboration of the Alaior City Council and the sponsorship of the Foundation for the Promotion of Tourism in Menorca.
