Valencia, new stage of the T100 circuit

The city of Turia hosts a T100 World Tour event for the first time

The Professional Triathletes Organization (PTO), World triathlon and Spanish Triathlon Federation (FETRI) have confirmed that Valencia will host the T100 World Tour circuit on September 20, 2025.

For the first time in history, a test of the T100 and Triathlon World Cup will be held in the same city and on the same weekend, offering an unprecedented spectacle for fans of this sport.

A luxury setting for the world's elite

The Marina of Valencia and its surroundings will be the epicenter of the action, with a route that includes 2 km of swimming, 80 km of cycling and 18 km of running race.

This event will bring together the Top 20 male and female triathletes of the world, all of them competing for valuable points in view of the grand final of the T100 Triathlon World Championship in Qatar.

According to José Luis Moreno, Valencia's Councillor for Sports, said: “It is an honour for our city to host this event. The economic impact is estimated at 7,5 million euros, with a global television audience of 7,4 million viewers.”

A joint commitment to the growth of triathlon

FOR Sam renouf, General Manager of PTO, this combination of events makes Valencia the world epicentre of triathlon: “All eyes will be on the city that weekend.”

For its part, Antonio F. Arimany, President Elect of World Triathlon, highlighted the benefits of this collaboration: “Combining the T100 and World Cup events improves logistical efficiency and allows fans to enjoy an unforgettable experience.”

Spain, key in the T100 calendar

El T100 World Tour 2025 It consists of nine tests in iconic cities such as Singapore, San Francisco, Vancouver, London and Valencia, among others. Each triathlete must compete in at least five races during the season, adding up their four best results and the one from the final in Qatar.

According to José Hidalgo, President of FETRI, “triathlon in Spain is at its best and Valencia will be a perfect setting to continue making history.”

With Olympic and world medalists in contention, September 20, 2025 promises to be a historic day for triathlon in Valencia and around the world.
