Valencia prepares to welcome the triathlon elite to the World Cup

The Marina of Valencia will be the setting this coming weekend for one of the most anticipated events of the season: the Valencia Triathlon World Cup.
With more than 2.000 registered athletes, including Olympic and Paralympic stars, the city of Turia is preparing to experience two days full of excitement and competition at the highest level.
The event, which will take place on the days 14 and September 15, has established itself as a benchmark in the calendar international, attracting elite triathletes from around the world.
In this fourth edition, the participation of outstanding athletes such as Anna Godoy, Antonio Serrat, David cantero y Noelia Juan promises to be one of the main attractions. In addition, the presence of Paralympic and inclusive competitions reinforces Valencia's commitment to sport for all.
The elite of international triathlon in Valencia
Triathlon in Valencia has grown exponentially in recent years, positioning the city as a reference point for endurance sport.
This World Cup will be one of the most relevant events before the end of the season, which will continue with the MD/LD T100 Ibiza Spanish Cup and World Cup Final in Torremolinos, Andalusia.
Among the most prominent names, Anna Godoy, an Olympian in Paris and one of the best Spanish triathletes of the moment, will seek to improve her performance in a season already marked by great achievements.
At your side, will be Antonio Serrat, another of the great representatives of the Spanish “TriArmada”, whose performance has placed him among the favorites in international competitions.
David cantero, a promising youngster who has just won his first World Cup, arrives with great momentum after his recent victory in this same category.
For its part, Noelia Juan, fourth in the European Sprint Triathlon Championship in Turkey, is eager to repeat her success and continue her upward trajectory.
On the international scene, the presence of the German stands out Lisa Tersch, champion in Valencia 2022, who will seek to defend her title.
Paralympic and inclusive triathlon: a participation record
One of the great milestones of this edition will be the participation in the Spanish Championship of Paralympic Triathlon and in the Spanish Inclusive Triathlon Championship.
The competition will feature some of the country's best Paralympic triathletes, including silver medalist Martha French and the bronze medalist Nil Ruidavets.
In addition, figures such as Lionel Morales, Eva Moral and the Valencian Héctor Catalá, medallist in Tokyo, will be on the starting line to represent Spain.

The program of the Valencia Triathlon World Cup will be structured as follows:
- Female Elite: Saturday, September 14, 17:00 p.m.
- Women's Awards Ceremony: 18: 15 h.
- Male Elite: Saturday, September 14, 19:00 p.m.
- Men's Awards Ceremony: 20: 15 h.
El Spanish Championship of Paralympic Triathlon will take place on Saturday at 13:00 p.m., while the Spanish Inclusive Triathlon Championship will be held on Sunday, September 15 at the same time.
