The British has been the most regular of the year and has proclaimed WTS World Champion
Today it has been played in Gold Coast la Grand Final of the World Series, where we have been able to see emotion until the end, where against all odds Vicky Hooland who stayed in the first part of the running sector, rallied to get the second final place and the world title. The Australian Ashleigh People get the victory while Katie Zaferes was third.
The fight for the world title was a matter of two, the American Katie Zaferes and the British Vicky Holland who arrived separated by only 34 points and the one who reached the finish line first would win the world title
The test began at 7:06 AM with the 1.900 meter swim where Jessica Learmont was the first to get out of the water giving time to a stretched group with Summer Cook, Vicky Holland, Katie Zaferes next to her. Sara Perez came out of the water in 9th position at 6 seconds and Anna Godoy the 30 to 23.

Around the 10 kilometer of the sector, the second and the third group were united (forming a group of 26 triathletes) while ahead the Norwegian Miller managed to reach the 7 head. In the 10 kilometer the road situation was of 8 triathletes headed led by Holland and Zaferes.

Katie Zaferes was the first of the group to reach the second transition, but thanks to a quick transition from Vickey Holland she was leading with 5 seconds over the rest of the triathletes. Quickly, Zaferes, Holland and Gente left alone to fight for the medals.
On the 3 kilometer of the segment, Holland was a few meters, but managed to keep the distance of a few 10 seconds on the two head, but gave bad feelings. However he knew how to maintain this difference to cut the distance and join the group again in the 7 kilometer.
Shortly after, the British picked up the pace, leaving Zaferes and leaving with Gente to fight for victory.
