2 titles in just 2 weeks

Spanish triathlete Victor del Corral has managed to win this weekend in the Ironman of Arizona, only 15 days after he won the title in Florida.

A time of 08:02:00 has been what he has needed to complete this circuit that ran on the distance 3.8 km swam, 180 km by bike to finish with 42 km of running on foot, in which he invested 54:03 for the swimming segment, 4:20:13 in the cycling segment and 2:43:59 in running. Jordan Rapp and Jens Petersen-Bach have achieved second and third places respectively accompanying him on the podium.

Despite his spectacular career, he failed to beat the “Sub8” mark that he holds. Eneko Llanos as best in this circuit, which he achieved in 2011, although he did win the lead.

Victor del Corral closes with this appointment an excellent season, which despite not starting on the right foot has managed to overcome in a spectacular way.
