The Cycling Tour of Lanzarote will feature Carlos Verona, Contador and Valverde
The Vuelta Ciclista a Lanzarote will feature the presence of elite cyclists such as Carlos Verona, Alberto Contador and Alejandro Valverde.
The test, organized by Club La Santa and the Cabildo of Lanzarote, will be held on September 28 and 29.
The first edition of the Lanzarote Cycling Tour It continues to increase its appeal with the confirmation of top-level cyclists.
Luxury participation
The professional cyclist Charles Verona, who recently finished in the top 25 at the 2024 Tour de France, joins Alberto counter y Alejandro Valverde in this cycling event that was born to be a reference for the UCI Cycling For All program.
Charles Verona, one of the most important cyclists in Spain, has shown his enthusiasm for participating in this test that will tour the seven municipalities of Lanzarote: Arrecife, Haría, San Bartolomé, Teguise, Tías, Tinajo and Yaiza.
Verona, an active professional cyclist, represents a luxury addition to the event, alongside cycling legends Alberto counter y Alejandro Valverde, who had already confirmed their participation months ago.
Fan zones on the circuit
The Vuelta Ciclista a Lanzarote will not only offer participants the opportunity to ride alongside some of the best Spanish cyclists, but will also have “fan zones” at the refreshment points.
These areas will allow you to enjoy a festive atmosphere during the tour. This recreational component is possible thanks to the support of Lanzarote Sports Destination, which has dedicated itself to organizing the event.
