Lanzarote cycling tour, last days to register
The first Lanzarote Cycling Tour, which will take place on September 28-29 in its first edition, has Reduced rate until September 16th, although the Registration will remain open until the 24th.

The test will have 2 stages: Saturday 28th with 115 km of route and Sunday 29th with 75 km, which will complete the route of the Island.
A test marked on the UCI calendar (The International Cycling Union (UCI), which will celebrate its first edition in 2024, aims to be a benchmark in the national calendar by taking place on a volcanic island that is completely passionate about road cycling and which also has spectacular landscapes and perfectly paved roads that are ideal for practicing this sport.
In the interview conducted by BIOESFERADIGITAL with Fabio Cabrera, race director, he stated:
"It is an event open to all types of people who are passionate about cycling, being a non-competitive event in which participants can be from 16 years old until… their body can take it.
Despite being on the road, you can go with any type of bike, even electric ones, where in addition to the sporting part there will be areas for enjoyment for locals, the public and companions, such as the Plaza de la Alameda, where you can find a rest area with a DJ, a batucada, food... while being able to watch the live broadcast.
In the more professional part we will have the great former professional cyclists Alberto Contador and Alejandro Valverde, who will test the most experienced athletes, especially in the time trial sections of the circuit."
Furthermore, Cabrera wanted to thank the public institutions for their involvement in this first edition: “This event would not have been possible without the great involvement and coordination by the 7 municipalities, as well as the Cabildo and the Government of the Canary Islands, an event that this island deserves, where there is so much passion for road cycling."
Registration will remain open until September 24, with the 16th being the last day of reduced rates:
