Weihai returns to the 2025 World Triathlon Series calendar
The Triathlon World Series (WTCS) are already defining their calendar for next year. 2025 is shaping up to be an impressive season, full of key events that will bring together the best triathletes in the world.
World Triathlon has confirmed that Weihai, in China, will return to the calendar after its successful debut last year, consolidating itself as one of the crucial stops on the road to the World Championships.
The Weihai event will take place on September 26 and will be one of the last before the finals in Wollongong, Australia.
The 2025 calendar starts earlier than initially planned, with the first date confirmed for February 8 and 9 in Abu Dhabi, a venue known for its impeccable organisation and the quality of its facilities.
This inaugural test will be joined by other outstanding competitions, such as the WTCS Yokohama May 17th and the already expected stop in Hamburg, from 12 to 13 July, which always guarantees a unique atmosphere thanks to the support of the German fans.
