XTERRA Costa Brava, the return of the franchise to Spain

This season 2023 ESpain will once again host an XTERRA test thanks to a partnership between XTERRA EMEA and the renowned Spanish event organizer Ocisport.

The northwest of Spain will host the "off-road" triathlon XTERRA Costa Brava on June 3 and 4, 2023.

The test will start with a 1,5km swim in the Mediterranean Sea, followed by a 30km mountain bike race through rocky and sandy trails.

Trail track in the foothills behind the town of Sant Antoni de Calonge before ending with a 10km technical trail run along the beautiful but deceptively difficult coastal path.

An XTERRA test has not been held in Spain since 2016

This first XTERRA off-road triathlon event in Spain since 2016 cwill have 26 qualifying spots for the 2023 XTERRA World Championship in Italy for the winners of each age group division.

There will also be Sprint distance

The weekend also includes an event option of sprint distance (750 meter swim, 15km mountain bike, 5km trail run) and a 15km trail run to cater to all off-road enthusiasts alike.
