The registration period is now open to participate in the 'Mini Doñana Challenge' 2019
The Doñana Challenge will have one more year with this sporting activity of sports promotion, which will be held one day before the absolute test
El Doñana Challenge, as it is traditional, it will have another year with a sports activity parallel to the absolute test and that will serve as a promotion for a sport like triathlon, the 'Mini Challenge', which will take place on the promenade and the beach of Bajo Guía in the Cadiz town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, the September 20, one day before the absolute test.
The registration period for the Mini Doñafío Doñana was opened on July 30, one month before the last editions, and will end on Wednesday, September 18 or when the participating 300 are reached. Will be delivered trophy to the top three classified men and women of each category; to the best male and female store by category; to the club or school with greater local participation; and to the club with greater participation.
Ideal for the little ones to start in the world of triathlon
The smallest among 7 and 17 years they will also live their own 'Mini Challenge Doñana'. On September 14, the day before the absolute test, a parallel promotion competition will be held so that all boys and girls can start in a discipline such as triathlon.
The mode to be played will be fun aquathlon for minors, organized by the Andalusian Triathlon Federation, with age group categories and some very affordable distances and ideals to promote this sport.
The distances and categories
The foot race - first and third segment - will be played in Bajo Guía, and swimming in the waters of the beach itself. The distances to be covered will vary according to the age of the participants: there will be several departures per category, which will range from 125 m. running on foot, 50 m. swimming and 125 m. career of the pre-benjamines (7 to 8 years), up to 1.500 m. running on foot, 400 m. swimming and 1.500 m. of the cadets (15-17 years). The first test will begin at 17.00 hours. The trophy delivery will be at 19.30 hours.
