The 2025 Valencia Marathon witnessed a phenomenal performance by Briton Alex Yee, who clocked a 2:06:38 and became the second fastest marathoner in the UK.

A performance that reopens debates
This 2:06:38 puts the Briton in an interesting scenario: with a more than sufficient Olympic qualifying time (2:08:10) and a level that could, in the future, open doors for him to compete in the marathon at the Games.
