FETRI 2026 Calendar: Official Venues and Dates
FETRI closes the 2026 national calendar with Mérida and Cáceres as its main venues.
Update (14/10/2025): The Spanish Triathlon Federation has carried out adjustments in the calendar national FETRI 2026 after several dates coincided with other events of great mobilization of resources, especially in Ciudad Real .
As a result, the dates of the Spanish CRE Duathlon and Relay Championships, which pass to the 21 and 22 March, and will also relocate the Spanish Duathlon Championship in Cáceres and the nationals of SuperSprint Duathlon for Clubs and Mixed Relays in La Nucía.

The Spanish Triathlon Federation has closed the FETRI 2026 national calendar, which will feature Mérida and Cáceres as the main venues for the Spanish Championships.
The new calendar includes all the key triathlon, duathlon, cross-country, gravel, and SwimRun events, as well as the Iberdrola and national club leagues spread across the country.
The Spanish Triathlon Federation (FETRI) has confirmed its national competition calendar for 2026, with the venues and dates already defined for the main Spanish championships and the triathlon and duathlon club leagues.
Following adjustments made to the duathlon season—motivated by the Football League calendar draw to ensure the viability and safety of the events—next season is now taking final shape.

Individual Duathlon and Triathlon Championships
El Spanish Duathlon Championship will be disputed in Cáceres on March 21 and 22, with that of Cadet, Youth and Junior Duathlon set for Avilés el 28 and 29 March.
Before, the Spain Middle Distance Duathlon Championship will open the season in Huesca’s most emblematic landmarks, the February 15, while the qualifiers for the national will take place in Águilas (February 1) and Soria (February 8).
In turn, the Spanish Triathlon Championship will be held in Mérida 22 y 23 August, while the national in categories Cadet, Youth and Junior will be disputed in A Coruna 20 21 and June.
El qualifier for the Spanish Triathlon Championship will be on Fuente Alamo el May 2, and the national one Sprint, a Almazán el July 4th.
El Spanish Triathlon Championship for School Age and by Autonomous Communities take place in Tudela 27 28 and June. Furthermore, the Spain Middle Distance Triathlon Championship will be held in Pamplona el May 23while that of Long distance will confirm date and venue in November.
El Spanish Winter Triathlon Championship will return to Reinosa el February 1, and those of Duathlon and Gravel Triathlon will be held in Vinuesa el 6 June.
Calahorra will repeat as the venue for the nationals of Cros Triathlon, Cros Duathlon and Aquathlon el 25 & 26 of July, and Mogán will host the Spanish SwimRun Championship el September 5.
National Duathlon Leagues
La National League of Duathlon Clubs 2026 will be structured in seven days distributed in three weekends.
- La Nucía will open the competition (date to be confirmed) with the Spanish Championships of SuperSprint Duathlon for Clubs and Mixed Relays.
- Ciudad Real will host the nationals of CRE Duathlon and Relays 21 and 22 March, after the modification of dates.
- The closing will come in Albacete, 11 y 12 de abril, with the Spanish Championships of Club Duathlon and Couples Relay.
National Triathlon Leagues
El And May 9 10 the starting gun will be fired at Iberdrola and National Triathlon Club Leagues en Águilas, with the traditional Iberdrola Triathlon King's Cup and Queen's CupIn addition Spanish Triathlon Relay Championship.
Subsequently, Roquetas de Mar will host the And May 30 31 the national championships of Club Triathlon and Couples Relay, while the final touch of the season will be experienced in a new headquarters, Arenales del Sol (Elche), 12 and September 13, with the championships of Club SuperSprint Triathlon, Mixed Relays, and 2x2 SuperSprint.
With this calendar, FETRI reaffirms its commitment to the territorial expansion of triathlon in Spain, combining historic events with new venues and consolidating its commitment to a stable, diverse, and attractive calendar for athletes of all levels.
