Everything is ready in Mérida for the Spanish School and Regional Triathlon Championship.

On July 5 and 6, Mérida will host the CESA School Age Triathlon Spanish Championship and the Spain Championship by Autonomies.
The event will bring together national teams from all Spanish Autonomous Federations, adding more than a thousand young athletes among the children's, cadet and youth categories.
In addition, the Inclusive Mixed Relay, a special event that promotes the integration of athletes with disabilities in the regional competition format.
Team competition, inclusion, and the future of triathlon
On Saturday, July 5th, it will start with the CESA qualifying series, in a knockout format for both the men's and women's categories. The grand finals will be held starting at 11:00 a.m., with the rankings adding points to the overall standings by autonomous community.
In the afternoon, it will be the turn of the Championship by Autonomous Communities, with semi-finals starting at 18:00 pm and finals at 19:30 pm (men's) and 20:00 pm (women's). Sunday is reserved for the Mixed Relay, both in the Children's and Cadet categories as well as in the absolute regional competition.
El Inclusive Mixed Relay, which combines one male athlete, one female athlete, and one paratriathlete per team, will start at 10:15 a.m.

Saturday July 5:
- 09:00 a.m. – CESA Qualifying Series (cadet and youth)
- 11:00 a.m. – CESA Finals
- 18:00 PM – Autonomous Communities Semifinals
- 19:30 p.m. – Men's Autonomies Final
- 20:00 PM – Women's Autonomies Final
Sunday July 6:
- 08:30 a.m. – Mixed Youth Relay
- 08:32 h – Cadet Mixed Relay
- 08:34 h – Children's Mixed Relay
- 10:15 a.m. – Inclusive Relief for School-Age Students and by Autonomous Communities
- 12:00 p.m. – Mixed Relay by Autonomous Communities

A venue that repeats on its own merits
During the official presentation, José Hidalgo, president of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, highlighted the value of Extremadura as headquarters:
"Never before has a city repeatedly hosted this championship. Mérida has proven to be the ideal setting for an event of this magnitude."
