Next 25 and October 26 a new edition of will be held Challenge Barcelona, a unique event that turns the Catalan capital into the epicenter of international triathlon.
With the slogan “One race, seven events, one iconic destination”The race will offer seven distances for all profiles, from beginners to middle-distance professionals.
An urban tour by the sea
The action will begin on the beach of the Mar Bella, with calm waters perfect for swimming.
The triathletes will then tackle a fast, flat cycling circuit that takes in some of Barcelona's most recognisable icons, such as the Holy Family, before setting off on foot in a unique atmosphere: the seafront promenade packed with fans cheering non-stop.
Seven tests, one spirit
Challenge Barcelona stands out for its inclusive nature and for offering formats for all ages and levels. In this edition, participants can choose from:
- Middle Distance (1,9 km + 88 km + 21 km)
- Sprint Distance (750 m + 20 km + 5 km) - places sold out
- Supersprint Distance (300 m + 7 km + 2,5 km)
- Junior Challenge (300 m + 7 km + 1,5 km)
- Aquathlon (750 m + 5 km)
- Open Water Swim 1,9 km
- Open Water Swim 3,8 km
This way, everyone from the youngest to the most elite triathletes can enjoy an unforgettable experience.
