The Mogán Challenge will feature more than 50 professionals

This Saturday, April 26, a new edition of the Challenge Mogán Gran Canaria, an already established test that officially opens the calendar European middle-distance triathlon in 2025.
Over 50 professional triathletes confirmed and around 430 athletes of all age groups arrived from 29 countriesMogán will once again be the meeting point for international triathlon for the ninth consecutive year.
A luxury performance: Brownlee, Dreitz and Lagownik among the favorites
Among the most prominent names, renowned triathletes such as the British are repeating their presence on the island Jonathan Brownlee, Olympic medalist, and the German Andreas Dreitz, common on this circuit.
Both will seek to take the victory against a list of top-level competitors such as Will draper, Ognjen Stojanovic o Ernie Mantell.
In the women's category, the Polish Martha Lagownik, the current champion, will try to retain the title against strong rivals such as the German julia skala, the French Jeanne Collonge, the British Daisy Davis or the canary Zaira Lorenzo, who will compete as a local representative.
Double format: middle distance and Olympic
The main competition will be the usual one middle distance with 1,9 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling and 21 km of running.
A faster Olympic-distance version (1,5 km / 40 km / 10 km) will also be held, designed for those seeking a more explosive experience.
