Challenge Peguera Mallorca 2025 is now fully booked, almost a year away, confirming its status as one of the most beloved middle distances in European triathlon.
The organization Challenge Family has announced through its social media that Challenge Peguera Mallorca has reached the sold out.
The test, which will be held on 18th October 2025, has sold out numbers almost a year in advance, consolidating itself as an essential event in the calendar international of middle distance.
It's no coincidence. The Balearic event has won the affection of triathletes for its perfect blend of challenging athleticism, spectacular surroundings, and Mediterranean atmosphere.
Each edition, the town of Peguera (Calvià) It becomes a mosaic of accents, flags and Bike that flood their streets, beaches and bars.
A triathlon with a Mediterranean soul
Peguera's success has a clear explanation: she combines the rigor of a technical career with the warmth of the Mediterranean. In 2024, she was recognized as Challenge Family Race of the Year, an award that endorses the quality of the organization and the atmosphere that prevails throughout the week of the event.
The route is one of its great attractions. The swimming, of 1.900 meters (two laps of 950 m), takes place in the quiet Torà Bay, with the public cheering just a few meters from the triathletes.
El cyclist segment, with passage through the Serra de Tramuntana, a World Heritage Site, offers a technical and varied circuit that combines challenging climbs and rapid descents with spectacular views.
La half marathon final, completely urban and on the seafront, runs along the promenade and through the centre of Peguera, where the public turns each turn into a party.
A perfect season finale
The date—mid-October—is another secret to its success. While much of Europe enters autumn, Mallorca maintains ideal temperatures: around 20°C in the air and 23°C in the water.
The race has become the perfect finale for many triathletes looking to close out the year with one last half-distance race, in a more relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere.
More than a race, an experience
One of the strong points of the event is its proximityThe start, transition, and finish are just a few meters away. This allows family and friends to follow the entire competition without leaving the promenade. From the terraces and improvised stands, up to six steps of the triathletes can be seen during the half marathon, creating an atmosphere that few triathlons can match.
The organization also takes care of the gastronomic and social details. During the week, local restaurants celebrate the Pasta Party, where athletes can enjoy traditional Mallorcan dishes with a €12 voucher. A local touch reinforces the event's friendly spirit.
