The phenomenon repeats itself every year. At 10:00 sharp this Monday, the online registration process opened for Challenge Roth 2026, and in just 20 seconds all places were sold out.

Triathletes from around the world crashed the web in an attempt to get what for many is a golden ticket: participating in the most iconic long-distance race off the circuit. HOMBRE DE HIERRO.

Roth isn't just a race. It's a tradition, a collective dream. It's the European Mecca of long-distance triathlon.

Anyone who's been there knows it all: the more than 200.000 spectators, the legendary Solarer Berg, the electrifying atmosphere... That's why competing there is much more than crossing a finish line: it's experiencing triathlon at its finest.

Late Entry Draw: Your last chance to be in Roth 2026

Although the general registration has flown by, there are still options. Starting this week, the Late Entry Draw, a draw that will offer at least 300 individual bibs and 25 places per relay.

Participation costs €10, and half of that amount will go to charity. Each person may purchase as many tickets as they like, but will only be able to access one non-transferable bib.

This is the most accessible route for those who didn't get a spot in the express opening. And it's not the only one.

Why is Roth the most desired in the world?

Challenge Roth is the most coveted race in the world because it has it all: a fast, flat course perfect for pursuing a personal best, impeccable organization that takes care of every detail, and an environment where triathlon is not just an event, but a way of life that permeates the entire year.

And if we're talking about records, Roth has some of the best in the world. 2024, Magnus ditlev flew with 7:23:24, one of the best times in history without a tail current.

Y Anne Haug She left everyone speechless with her 8:02:38, the absolute women's record, with a final marathon of 2:38:52, without external help.

Beyond Chrono: Roth as a Life Experience

What makes this event unique is the collective energy that surrounds it. From the residents who cheer nonstop to the volunteers who give their all, to the shared sense of experiencing something epic.

That's why every bib number is worth gold. Because it represents much more than competing: it's being part of a legend.
