The FETRI, chosen as the best European triathlon federation in 2025
The Spanish Triathlon Federation (FETRI) has been recognized as the Best European Federation of the Year 2025 during the General Assembly of Europe Triathlon, an award that reinforces the weight of Spanish triathlon on the international scene.
This weekend, within the framework of the General Assembly and the annual Gala of European TriathlonSpain once again positioned itself at the top of continental triathlon.
La Spanish Triathlon Federation (FETRI) was chosen best European federation of the year, surpassing the bids from Poland and Italy in a vote that brought together representatives from the 49 federations members of the European body.
The award recognizes the overall work of a federation in different areas of sport: sporting results, organization of international events, federation management and development of triathlon in all its categories.
A recognition of the growth of Spanish triathlon
The award confirms the strong position that Spanish triathlon is experiencing, both at the elite and grassroots levels.
