Georgia Taylor-Brown switches to gravel in Spain and takes the podium at the Traka 360

The Olympic champion, a regular on international podiums in Olympic distance, completed a brilliant performance in her first official foray into a gravel event, achieving a valuable third position.

The Traka 360: 100 km of adventure and technique
Traka has established itself as one of Europe's most popular gravel events, bringing together top-level cyclists and triathletes on courses of up to 360 km.
Taylor-Brown competed in the event 100 km, tackling dirt roads, demanding climbs and technical descents in a privileged natural environment.
During the same day, other renowned triathletes also participated: the legendary Alistair Brownlee had to retire after a fall, while Ruth Astle finished in the Top 10 over the entire 360km distance.
Vincent LuisTaylor-Brown's partner, also competed in the 200km, finishing 43rd despite problems with his timing chip.
Elite athletes join gravel in Girona
This event confirms the growing trend among elite triathletes to experiment with other disciplines such as gravel. What may initially seem like a more relaxed sport actually represents a technical and physical challenge that attracts both professionals and amateurs.
