Half Madrid 2025: The middle-distance triathlon will take over the capital.
El 28th September 2025, the Spanish capital will once again be filled with triathletes with one of the most anticipated events of the year calendar national middle distance: the HALF MADRID.
The competition, with its nerve center in the area of Lake Casa de Campo, will be Madrid Middle Distance Championship and will score for national ranking of middle and long distanceAn important event for both locals and those looking to score key points this season.
Two distances, one show
HALF MADRID will offer two events to suit different triathlete profiles:
HALF Distance (no drafting) – Madrid MD Championship
- 1.800 m of swimming in the Casa de Campo Lake
- 83 km of cycling in a single lap
- 18,6 km of running through the Lake, the Huerta de la Partida and Madrid Río
Short distance (with drafting)
- 1.000m swim
- 40 km of cycling
- 10 km of foot race
Both share a setting and atmosphere, starting from the lake and finishing next to the local soccer field.
Participation and format
A total participation of 800 triathletes between both modalities. The starts will be organized in batches of approximately 100 participants per minute to ensure safety and smooth running of the circuit.
Important: are not allowed Bike of Mountain.
Awards
The HALF test will offer cash prizes for the top 5 overall male and female finishers:
- 1st/1st: €500
- 2st/2st: €250
- 3st/3st: €150
- 4st/4st: €100
- 5st/5st: €75
In addition, there will be trophies for the first 3 in each category and medals for the podiums by age group.
And as a special detail, those registered for the HALF distance will receive a exclusive jersey of the event.
