A test without drafting… and with record-breaking pace

One of the main attractions of the ICAN Triathlon is its format 100% no drafting, which sets it apart from many other national events, where slipstreaming is permitted. This rule applies to all distances, including the Short.

In addition, the cycling circuit is fast and flat, perfect for those looking to improve their time. Renowned names such as Carlos Aznar, Nacho Villarruel, Kristian Quintans, Gonzalo Fuentes o Roger Manya, the latter with the best historical record of the event (08:16:12 in 2024).

The commitment to the elite: PRO START is born

The 2025 edition includes a major new feature: the launch of the format PRO START for Full and Half Distance. This system allows elite triathletes to compete for cash prizes, €7.000 in Full and €3.500 in Half, distributed equally between male and female categories.

Triathletes must apply for inclusion by September 7, and the organization will review each application. PRO START registration has a reduced cost: €199 for Full and €119 for Half.
