IRONMAN 70.3 Alcudia-Mallorca: 3.800 triathletes ready to conquer the island

After the start of the season in the HOMBRE DE HIERRO 70.3 Valencia, it is the turn of one of the most multitudinous and emblematic events of the calendar international: the Sapphire IRONMAN 70.3 Alcúdia-Mallorca.

This Saturday, May 10, the Balearic island will host the fourteenth edition of the test, with the participation of 3.800 athletes from 72 countries different.

All numbers sold months in advance

The 2025 edition has once again broken interest records. four months after the event All the bibs had already been sold out, demonstrating the magnetism that this event has for triathletes from all over the world.

The United Kingdom, Spain and Germany lead the participation

A striking fact of this edition is that the 76% of participants are coming to Mallorca for the first time, and for a 40% will be their first experience in an IRONMAN 70.3. In addition, female participation continues to grow and has already reached 18% of total.

The age groups with the greatest growth are among the 25-29 and 30-34 years old, which shows that the new generations are also strongly committed to the middle distance.
