New IRONMAN 70.3 in Chile: Puerto Varas 2026

Puerto Varas, a natural gem in southern Chile, will be the site of the new HOMBRE DE HIERRO 70.3 Puerto Varas from of April 12, 2026.
This was officially announced by the IRONMAN organization in conjunction with World Centric Group, consolidating the franchise's growth in South America.
A spectacular tour in the heart of Chilean Patagonia
The event promises a dream course. The race will begin with 1.9 km of swimming in Lake Llanquihue, with spectacular views of the Osorno Volcano. The triathletes will then face a segment of 90 km of cycling on a round-trip circuit that runs along the lake, with flat sections and some gentle slopes.
Finally, the last 21 km of foot race They will run through the city of Puerto Varas, on a three-lap urban circuit that passes through the famous Costanera, surrounded by vegetation, local architecture and the warmth of the public.
