Kristian Blummenfelt, Patrick Lange, and Gustav Iden lead a star-studded field at IRONMAN Frankfurt 2025.

The next Sunday 29 June, the German city of Frankfurt will be the setting for one of the most anticipated events of the long distance season: the European Championship HOMBRE DE HIERRO , which this year will feature one of the best male start lists in recent triathlon history.

A full Kona podium and three world champions

Among the notable names are three IRONMAN world champions:

• Kristian Blummenfelt (NOR)
• Gustav Iden (NOR)
• Patrick Lange (GER)

In addition, the three medalists from the 2024 IRONMAN World Championship and the podium winners from Frankfurt 2024 will be present.

All this with the incentive of $87.500 in prizes, 5.000 points IRONMAN Pro Series and 5 slots for the 2025 Nice World Cup.

Kristian Blummenfelt arrives launched

The Norwegian Kristian Blummenfelt, defending champion and wearer of the number one jersey, returns after his exhibition in 2024, where he stopped the clock at a stratospheric 07:27:21.

This year he arrives after winning IRONMAN Texas and the 70.3 from Aix-en-Provence, reaffirming that his form remains fearsome.

Patrick Lange wants to settle his debt with Frankfurt

After season marked by injury, Patrick Lange seeks to achieve its long-awaited victory at home.

Despite finishing third in 2018 and competing four times in Frankfurt, victory has still eluded him. This year, more motivated than ever, he wants to add this title to his impressive record.

The Nordic armada does not loosen

In addition to Blummenfelt and Lange, the show will be served with Gustav Iden (NOR), 2022 world champion, Casper Stornes (NOR), second in Aix-en-Provence and in clear progression and Magnus ditlev (DEN), runner-up in the 2024 World Cup and winner in South Africa this year

All of them are vying for the European throne in a race that promises spectacle from the first meter.

Other names to follow closely will be Cameron Wurf (AUS) leader of the IRONMAN Pro Series ranking,  Jonas Schomburg (GER),Gregory barnaby (ITA), series champion in 2024, Rudy von berg (USA), recent podiums in Texas and Oceanside or Kieran Lindars (GBR), second in Frankfurt last year

Local representation will also be strong with Paul Schuster, Jonas Hoffman, Leonard Arnold y Finn Große-Freese.
