Korona Madrid will award cash prizes in two events in 2026

The Korona Madrid 2026 Circuit will feature cash prizes for the first time, which will be distributed in the Jarama Duathlon and the El Molar Cross Duathlon.


El Circuit Korona Madrid It continues to take steps to strengthen its competitive proposition for 2026. The organization has confirmed that Two of its events will have cash prizes., a notable new feature within the Madrid duathlon calendar and national.

The announcement was made on December 11th 2025 and directly affects two key events on the circuit: the Duathlon of the Jarama, in its medium-distance modality, and the El Molar Cross Duathlon.

Awards at the Jarama Middle Distance Duathlon

The most demanding race on the circuit will also be the one that awards the highest prizes.

El Jarama Middle Distance DuathlonThe only one of its kind in the Community of Madrid, will award cash prizes to the top three overall finishers, in both the male and female categories.

The established prizes are:

  • 1rd and 1rd overall: €500
  • 2rd and 2rd overall: €250
  • 3rd and 3rd overall: €100

This lineup reinforces the appeal of an event that is already a regular feature for middle and long distance triathletes as a form test for the spring and summer season.

Awards also at the El Molar Cross Duathlon

The other event that will award prizes will be the El Molar Cross Duathlon, one of the most popular events on the circuit due to its technical nature and natural course.

In this case, the cash prizes will be distributed as follows:

  • 1rd and 1rd overall: €200
  • 2rd and 2rd overall: €100
  • 3rd and 3rd overall: €50
