A little over a month ago, Manoel Messias left the triathlon world speechless.
In his long distance debut, he was second in the HOMBRE DE HIERRO from Florianópolis, but he set a historic record: el fastest marathon ever recorded in the franchise, with a brutal time of 2h26'50'' in the final 42,2 kilometers.
Now, just five weeks later, the Brazilian is radically changing the scene.
This Saturday he will be on the starting line of Hamburg, in one of the most emblematic tests of the Triathlon World Series, and over distance sprint: 750 meters of swimming, 20 km of cycling and 5 km of running.
Hamburg: pure technique and a luxurious lineup
Hamburg is not just any race. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious events in the world. calendar.
This year brings together a good part of the world's top 10: Matthew Hauser, Miguel Hidalgo, Basque Vilaça, Ricardo Batista, charles pack, Luke Willian, Csongor Lehmann o Ben Dijkstra.
On behalf of Spain, they will compete Roberto Sánchez Mantecón (8th in the ranking) and David cantero (9th), both with a very solid season so far.

High altitude preparation and demanding circuit
Before this return to the top level, Messiah has been training in Font-Romeu, one of the best-known high-altitude resorts in Europe.
The Hamburg event won't be easy: an underground swim, a technical bike ride through the city center, and a short but highly explosive run. It will be her first appearance in the World Series since Abu Dhabi.
