ICAN Triathlon prepares for an edition with more than 1.000 participants

El ICAN Triathlon enters its decisive stretch with more than 500 triathletes already registered for the distances Full and Half, and with the opening of new spaces just around the corner.

Next May 22 at 17:00 p.m. Registrations for the modalities will be activated Short and Aquabike (Medium and Long Distance), two highly sought-after options that will expand the total number of participants.

With the inclusion of these new distances, the organization hopes to once again overcome the barrier of 1.000 triathletes, consolidating the ICAN as one of the most complete tests in the calendar national.

This year, limited places (500 bibs) are added for the Short Distance, a perfect modality for those who want to make their debut or compete without the wear and tear of long distances.

Over 32 foreign triathletes already confirmed from 16 countries (United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg, among others), ICAN Triathlon continues to attract interest beyond our borders.

This formula continues to attract many international triathletes looking for a good event to close out the season.

An event that wants more women on its starting line

Although male participation remains the majority, the event continues its efforts to increase the female presence.

At present, more than 10% of the registrations belong to women, a figure that the organization wants to continue increasing with inclusive policies and visibility.
