Mediterranean Triathlon 2025 has more than 2.300 registered participants across its three venues.
MTRI is off to a strong start with active registrations in Alicante, Valencia, and Castellón.

The circuit Mediterranean 2025 Triathlon starts off strong.
With just a month and a half to go before the first test in Alicante (May 17-18), the event now has more than 2.300 enrolled between the three venues that comprise it: Alicante, Valencia (May 31 – June 1) and Castellón (July 5-6).
Registration is still open, and according to the organizers, the price range will change throughout April.
Triathlon for everyone in the Valencian Community
The MTRI circuit, organized by the Federation of Triatló of the Valencian Community, is once again betting on a format popular, accessible and attractive for athletes of all levels.
With events in three coastal cities and three distances (supersprint, sprint and Olympic), the event offers the possibility of participating both as a individually and in pairs.
This year a new addition is made outstanding novelty: The family duathlon, a non-competitive event where adults and children (ages 5 to 12) can enjoy sports together. The symbolic cost of €15 per couple aims to encourage sports participation from an early age.
Seaside settings: sun, triathlon, and sports tourism
The MTRI 2025 will be held in unique locations: Playa del Postiguet in Alicante, Beach of the Malvarrosa in Valencia and Planetarium Beach in Castellón. Each venue will combine sports, leisure, and tourism, making the triathlon an experience for the whole family.
Triathletes will be able to enjoy a international competition environment, with recovery areas, massages, music, food trucks, and a well-maintained post-finish space.
In addition, participants will receive a exclusive pack with a 42K brand T-shirt and gym sack, along with collaborator products.
The MTRI pack and the finisher medal are popular with regulars.
One of the attractions of the circuit is the MTRI PACK, which includes registration for all three events.
This option, which is close to matching the 2024 figures, offers advantages such as reduced rates, qualification for the final podium with a trophy and medals per category, and an exclusive gift: a limited edition backpack signed by 42K.

MTRI 2025 has the institutional support of Alicante City Council, Castelló City Council, and Valencia City Council, as well as the sports organizations responsible for each city; the Alicante Provincial Council, Valencia Provincial Council, and Castelló Provincial Council; and the Valencian Community Tourism and Sports Council, a joint project of the Valencian Regional Government and the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation.
The tourism organizations of each city also support the brand: Alicante Tourism, Castellón Tourism, and Visit Valencia. The Valencian Community Triathlon Federation, owner of the Mediterranean Triathlon brand, has the organizational support of Apolana Athletics in Alicante, A Corre Cuita in Valencia, and Evasion Running Castellón in Castellón.
