The MTRI Duathlon in Valencia grows to 1.170 registered participants
The Mediterránea Triatlón València 2026 will bring together 1.170 participants on February 21st at the Puente de las Flores, a record number in the third edition of the duathlon of the MTRI circuit.
Valencia opens the circuit season Mediterranean 2026 Triathlon with the highest participation recorded so far.
Registration for the duathlon, which will take place on Saturday, February 21st starting at 9:00 AM, is now closed. 761 adults and 410 participants in the Family Duathlonconsolidating the event's growth.
In the open category, nearly 800 duathletes will take part in the format individual supersprint, pairs and double supersprint.
Couples will once again play a leading role, with 150 teams registeredboth mixed and same-sex.
500 extra points in the MTRI ranking
El Valencia Duathlon by MTRI will grant 500 bonus points in the overall circuit ranking, whose final classification will be decided in MTRI Castellon.
This increase in participation reinforces the growth of duathlon in the Valencian Community, especially in short and accessible formats such as the supersprint and the pairs competitions.

El Family DuathlonThe triathlon, which will close the day's events starting at 12:30 pm, has filled all its available spots. This format has become one of the circuit's distinguishing features, attracting families and running clubs looking for their first experience with triathlon.
The organization also maintains the Team Village for clubs, reinforcing the social character of the event.
Ground Zero expanded under the Flower Bridge
The competition area will be expanded this year due to the increase in entries. Under the Flower Bridge They will be located:

- Last numbers
- Volunteering
- Aftermath
The running segment will take place around the esplanade between the Flower Bridge and the Exhibition Bridge, creating a new point of animation in the old riverbed.
Bib number collection and schedules
Bib collection will begin on Thursday, February 19th and Friday, February 20th at Decathlon campanarFrom 12:00 to 21:00. On Saturday, there will be an option for the last race numbers from 7:30 under the Puente de las Flores (Bridge of Flowers).
The awards ceremony will be held at 10:30 (supersprint) and 12:45 (double supersprint).
