Melilla will once again host a European Triathlon Championship in 2026.
The autonomous city will once again become the epicenter of European triathlon.
The European Triathlon Federation (Europe Triathlon) and the Spanish Triathlon Federation (FETRI), in collaboration with the General Directorate of Sports Policy of Melilla, have confirmed officially announced that the city will host a new edition of the Youth Triathlon European Championship day 17 and 18 October 2026.
Melilla reaffirms its commitment to international triathlon
After the success of this year, when the city was the stage for the Elite European Championship and Junior in sprint distance, Melilla consolidates its position as one of the reference locations within the calendar continental.
The organizers emphasized the positive impact of the event, both in terms of sport and the city's tourism profile, and their commitment to continue supporting events that promote triathlon.
