Few days until the MTRI Castellón fare change
There are already more than 1.000 participants in the test
With more than 1.000 triathletes already registered, Castellón is preparing to host the grand finale of the Mediterranean Triathlon 2025.
The appointment will be on the days 5 and 6 for July, in the privileged setting of Planetario Beach, in Grao de Castellón, and will mark the close of an edition marked by successful participation... despite the unforeseen events!
The forced change of dates in Valencia put the organization to the test, but the athletes' response has been exemplary. Now, all eyes are on the final venue of the circuit, where a true celebration of popular triathlon will take place.
Sprint, Olympic, Supersprint and more: what's your distance?
The available modalities offer options for all types of profiles, from beginners to veterans:
- Saturday July 5: Sprint Triathlon and Family Duathlon
- Sunday July 6: Olympic Triathlon and Supersprint
Places are selling out, but you still have time to join in any of the distances.
Couples triathlon and family duathlon: a sport to share
One of the Ministry of Triumph's main goals is to promote group sports. Therefore, the following formats are maintained:
- Triathlon for couples in all distances (Olympic, Sprint and Supersprint)
- DFamily uathlon, oraimed at children born between 2012 and 2020, always accompanied by an adult
The goal: to ensure that no one misses out on the triathlon experience, competing as a couple and crossing the finish line together.
Road bike… or mountain bike: What do you need?
The regulations of bike depending on the distance it is clear:
- In Sprint and Supersprint, the use of mountain bikes or urban bikes without couplings is permitted.
- At Olímpico, a road bike with a traditional curved handlebar is mandatory.
- Drafting is permitted, but couplings and goats are not allowed.
In addition, the entire competition will be held with official timing, and you can follow each triathlete live through the TRICV LIVE app, simply by using their race number.
Registration for the MTRI Castellón 2025
With less than a month left, the countdown begins. The third round of registrations and price increase will take effect from June 16.
After that, all that's left to do is pack your gear, pick up your bib at the Javier Marquina Football Field, and experience the triathlon as the star of the show.
