The Valencia 2025 MTRI kicks off at Malvarrosa Beach.

This Friday, May 30th, at 12:30 p.m., MTRI Valencia 2025 has celebrated its official presentation in a new and emblematic setting: Malvarrosa Beach.

The event was attended by Rocio Gil, Councilor for Sports of the Valencia City Council; Marçal Vilar, president of CT ACorreCuita (organizing entity); and Paloma Redondo, responsible for communication and marketing of the Triatló Federation of the Valencian Community.

The event also brought together representatives of the sponsoring brands that support this key event of the calendar popular: Ana de Teresa (Calconut), Paco Amoros (42K Running) and Aurelio Gimeno (ÁMBAR beers). The official photo, with the sea in the background, kicked off a weekend full of sport and triathlon.

Friday expo, briefing and bibs

The expo and race number collection opens at 17:00 PM today, and is open until 20:00 PM.

At 19:00 p.m., the in-person briefing will take place at the venue, where triathletes can answer any questions they may have about the courses and rules.

Competition throughout the weekend

The action will kick off on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. with the sprint distance and family duathlon events.

The day will extend until 20:00 p.m., and on Sunday it will be the turn of the distances Olympic and supersprint, thus completing an ideal range for all types of participants.

MTRI Valencia is part of the Mediterranean Triathlon circuit, one of the most accessible and participatory in Spain, which also passes through Castellón and Alicante.

Calconut renews his commitment to triathlon

The Alicante multinational calconut, specializing in nuts and healthy eating, is expanding its collaboration with Mediterránea Triatlón. Following its presence at MTRI Alicante, the company continues to strongly support sport as a reflection of its values.

"Betting on sports isn't just a matter of visibility or sponsorship, but a coherent way of projecting who we are as a company," said its representative.
