Club La Santa finalizes the Night Run and the Lanzarote International Running Challenge 2025
Tinajo is preparing for a very special weekend. Club Santa is finalizing the last details to celebrate, on the one hand, the night run 2025 This Saturday, November 22nd, and on the other hand, the ª 36 Lanzarote International Running Challengee, which will take place from the 23rd to the 26th of the same month.
Between the two races, more than 1.100 runners from 35 countries will meet on the island to close the season in a festive and sporting atmosphere.
Night Run 2025: sport, lights and music to kick off the weekend
The Night Run maintains its essence: a family-friendly, accessible event designed for all ages. The day kicks off at 18:00 PM with the KIDS Night Run, while the adult race will start at 19:00 p.m.
Participants will be able to choose between two distances: 4 km (one lap around the La Laguna circuit) or 7 km (two laps). The start and finish will be located at the Club La Santa Stadium, as is tradition.
The test is part of the Tinajo Popular Races Cup, and will once again have the support of the Tinajo City Council, the Lanzarote Island Council and Lanzarote Sports Destination.
The evening will include light, music, gastronomy and a special performance by the tribute band. The Miracle (Queen), which will add a touch of spectacle to the evening.
The Running Challenge 2025: four days, four surfaces
Saturday's festivities will be just the appetizer for the Lanzarote International Running Challenge, which reaches its Edition 36.
The event, supported for the first time by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, proposes a unique format: four consecutive stages with different surfaces and demands.
The stages will be as follows:
- Day 1 (Sunday): 10 km of asphalt around Club La Santa.
- Day 2 (Monday): 13 km of trail on paths and dirt areas.
- Day 3 (Tuesday): 5 km on sand at Playa de los Pocillos.
- Day 4 (Wednesday): 21 km combining asphalt and dirt in Tinache Mountain and volcanic areas.
These routes have been attracting both local runners and international athletes for years, all looking for a different, varied competition with a spectacular natural environment.
Lanzarote, a year-round sports destination
With the Night Run and the Running Challenge, Club La Santa concludes its calendar of races in 2025, reinforcing Lanzarote's image as an ideal destination to train, compete and enjoy sports at any time of year.
Tinajo will once again be filled with atmosphere, families and runners, in a week that combines sport, community and the characteristic charm of the island.
