Difficult months after his abandonment in Texas

Lange, the reigning IRONMAN World Champion after his epic victory in Kona 2024, was forced to withdraw from IRONMAN Texas last April due to inflammation of his adductor tendon. He hasn't competed since. His only appearance in 2025 was at IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside, where he finished 17th after a very limited run.

“Finally pain-free”

On her Instagram account, Lange shared her excitement about this new opportunity at home:

“Race week! 🤩 Excited for my fifth start at IRONMAN Frankfurt, my home race in Hessen. It's a circuit I haven't mastered yet, but the dream of winning here always keeps me coming back.

The road after the injury wasn't easy, but I'm now pain-free and in good spirits. Even though the pollen is making it difficult, I'm ready to fight!
