3 months before its celebration (September 21), the organization has revealed key details about the routes, the prizes for both distances, and its solidarity commitment to Down Cantabria.
Foot race: fast and urban circuit
For both the Olympic and middle distance, the foot race will be held on a course urban closed to traffic, completely flat and very fast. A perfect layout for maintaining your pace or pushing yourself to the limit in the final kilometers.
- Olympic distance: 10,5 km (3 laps)
- Middle distance: 21 km (6 laps)
The start and finish will be located at the Gamazo dam, passing through emblematic places such as Castelar, Paseo Pereda, the Botín Center and the Port of Santander.
There will 3 refreshment points distributed along the route and participants are reminded that it is It is forbidden to litter outside the designated areas.
Cycling: demanding, technical and spectacular
The cycling course promises to be one of the event's main attractions. Closed to traffic, urban, with views of the sea and iconic areas of the city, it combines skill, effort, and scenic beauty.
- Olympic distance: 40 km (2 laps of 20 km)
- Middle distance: 80 km (4 laps of 20 km)
The tour starts and ends at the Gamazo dam / Zaera dune, and includes highlights such as the Gas Slope, Queen Victoria Avenue, the Magdalena Peninsula and the Port of Santander.

Prizes for both distances
Triathletes who achieve the best results will not only receive public recognition, but also important cash prizes:
Middle distance awards:
- 1st – €1.500
- 2st – €750
- 3st – €400
- 4st – €200
- 5th to 10th – €100
The top three will also receive free registration for the next edition.
Olympic distance awards:
- 1st – €1.000
- 2st – €500

Solidarity bib: compete for a good cause
This year, the event is once again betting on the solidarity bib, an initiative that combines sport and inclusion.
In this edition, the proceeds will go to the Down Syndrome Foundation of Cantabria, which has been working for the rights and opportunities of people with Down syndrome since 1982.
In 2024, the foundation went a step further with the project “From Santander to Illinois“, in collaboration with the Northwestern University from the United States. Through cultural exchanges and virtual reality, they seek to foster international inclusion.
Participating with a charity bib is much more than just a triathlon. It's supporting a cause that transforms lives.
