Spain announces its selection for the Pontevedra 2025 Multisport World Cup

The TriArmada will look to shine from June 20 to 29 in Pontevedra.

La Spanish Triathlon Federation (FETRI) has made public the official call for the 2025 World Triathlon Multisport Championships Pontevedra, which will be held between June 20 and 29 in the Galician city.

Under the technical direction of Iñaki Arenal, a total of 27 athletes They will compete in different disciplines: long-distance triathlon, cross-country triathlon, duathlon, and aquathlon.

A team with great aspirations

Following the excellent results achieved at the previous World Championships held in Townsville, Australia, where Spain won three elite gold medals, the national team arrives in Pontevedra with the goal of consolidating its position as one of the world's multisport powers.

Pontevedra, world reference headquarters

Pontevedra is once again on the international triathlon map, having hosted the Multisport World Championships in 2019 and the World Series Grand Final in 2023.

In fact, it has also been confirmed as the host of the 2026 World Series final.

This coming June, the Galician city will once again thrill with the finest international triathlon, bringing together athletes from all continents in a true multisport celebration.
