The new RECO 80 LINK and RECO 81 LINK radars of SIGMA They come with rear detection technology and advanced connectivity to improve the safety of cyclists on the road.


SIGMA launches RECO 80 LINK and RECO 81 LINK: smart radars for safer driving

SIGMA officially presents RECO 80 LINK y RECO 81 LINK, two new rear lights with integrated radar designed to give cyclists early warning of oncoming traffic and improve their visibility on the road.

It is one of the the brand's most important releases In terms of safety, it features wireless communication between devices, intelligent lighting functions, and compatibility with GPS cycling computers.

Radar technology: rear vision up to 140 meters

The new RECO models incorporate a radar capable of detecting vehicles at a distance of up to 140 meters and at an angle of 60 degreesidentifying up to eight objects simultaneouslyThe information is transmitted in real time to the compatible cycle computer, allowing you to know immediately if a car is approaching and at what speed.

The rear light also acts as a warning element for drivers approaching from behind, with a light pattern visible even in low-light conditions. It includes Brake light y emergency lightdesigned to anticipate challenging situations on the road.

A digital rearview mirror for cyclists

Connected to a compatible SIGMA ROX cycle computer or other profile devices ANT+ RadarRECO becomes a kind of digital rearview mirror. The cyclist sees the position and approach of vehicles on the screen and receives audible alerts when traffic approaches faster than usual.

RECO models differentiate between vehicles that arrive at normal speed and those that do so quickly, a useful detail for making decisions on the road, especially on secondary roads or descents.

Two versions: RECO 80 LINK for Germany and RECO 81 LINK for the rest of the markets

SIGMA launches two variants adapted to the regulations:

  • RECO 80 LINKIt meets the StVZO lighting requirements demanded in Germany and offers an autonomy of up to 15h.
  • RECO 81 LINK: geared towards the rest of the international markets, with six lighting modes, including a platoon mode designed for training in a group without dazzling others.

In both models, radar performance and safety features are identical.

Flexible mounting for all types of bicycles

The brand incorporates various adapters that allow the RECO to be mounted on round seatposts, D-shaped seatposts, and aerodynamic versions. This system facilitates stable placement even on Bike road or triathlon with specific profiles.

Connectivity: radar, lights and networked cycle computer

One of the standout new features is the ability to link the rear radar to the front light AURA 100 LINK via Bluetooth. From the front light itself, you can control the lighting modes and check the rear battery status, which is practical for long training sessions.

Using the ANT+ radar profile, the RECO devices are also compatible with other cycling computers on the market. From spring 2026, the app SIGMA RIDE It will integrate sound and visual alerts directly into the mobile device.
