Last days to register for Swim GP 2025
July is here, and with it the countdown to one of the most anticipated events of the summer: the SwimGP from Cascais.
If you haven't confirmed your spot yet, please note: Registration closes on Tuesday, July 16 at 23:59 p.m. (Portugal time).
After that date, there will be no way to sign up for this trip, which connects Oeiras with Cascais in one of Europe's most beautiful coastal settings.
Cascais awaits you with six distances available
The 5km crossing is now complete. exhausted, but there are still places available in:
- 20 km
- 10 km
- 3.8 km (distance HOMBRE DE HIERRO)
- 1.9 km (medium distance)
- 1 km
- Kids: 200–400 m
A wide range of options allows you to choose according to your goal, whether you're a long-distance triathlete, an open water enthusiast, or just starting out in the world.
An international event in full swing
The Swim GP has grown year after year, and in this 2025 edition it once again has a very strong international profile.
The five most represented countries this year are:
- Portugal
- Brazil
- Spain
- Italy
- France
In total, swimmers from more than 40 nationalities will be at the start. A fact that consolidates the event as European and international reference at the calendar of open waters.
A journey designed to make a difference
The circuit connects Oeiras with Cascais through 10 kilometers of open sea swimming, with current sections, technical orientation, and changes in pace that will force you to bring out your best version.
From the first meter in the Tagus River to the last push on the coast of Cascais, every kilometer counts.
Triathlete? This event is for you too.
Many triathletes already have this date marked on their calendars as part of their preparation for middle- or long-distance events.
El Swim GP not only does it allow you to simulate real-life racing conditions, but you also do it without competitive pressures, with a friendly and very well-organized atmosphere.
