The Championship 2026 opens its qualifying period
The Championship is the grand final of the circuit Challenge Family, an international middle-distance event that brings together the world's best triathletes, both professionals and age groups, in a high-level competitive event with a festive atmosphere.
A unique experience in Samorin
The race is held in Šamorín (Slovakia), in a spectacular and fast-paced environment, designed to achieve maximum performance.
Access is by qualification only, ensuring a starting line-up packed with international talent and an atmosphere blending sporting excellence and camaraderie.
How to qualify for 2026
The 2026 edition will be held on May 24, and the qualification period is now open. To secure a spot, athletes must participate in one of the Challenge Family qualifying events held around the world.
Age group spots are allocated based on performance in each event. The better the finishing position, the greater the chance of securing a slot.
Key dates in Spain
For Spanish triathletes or residents of the peninsula, there are four qualifying events for The Championship 2026:
- Challenge Peguera Mallorca – October 18, 2025
- Challenge Barcelona – October 26, 2025
- Challenge Mogán - Gran Canaria – April 18, 2026
- Challenge Salou – May 10, 2026
