What are the T50 Cup and the T100 Challenger?
The Triathlon World Tour will organize a large part of international triathlon from 2027 under a common structure with different competitive levels.
At the top will be the T50 World Championship Tour , successor to the current WTCS , and the T100 World Championship Tour , an evolution of the professional circuit driven by the PTO.
Below that will be the T50 Cup and the T100 Challenger . These events will combine professional and amateur competition and will form part of the structure that will allow professionals to progress to the Championship level.
The change coincides with the end of the current stage of the World Series, with Pontevedra 2026 as the last Grand Final under the WTCS name.
