El Santander City Triathlon 2025, which will be held Sunday September 21, has closed registrations after selling out all available places.
The test, which is part of the National Ranking of the FETRI, has established itself as one of the most popular in the northern peninsula thanks to its versatile format, its careful organization, and the attractiveness of the city.
Triathletes who didn't arrive on time still have a chance: a training camp has been set up waiting list for possible vacancies.

Two distances, one unique experience
The test offers two formats:
- Olympic Distance:
1.500m swim + 40km bike ride + 10,5km walk - Middle distance:
1.900m swim + 80km bike ride + 21km walk
Both share closed routes, well-marked crossings, a club atmosphere, and spectacular scenery between the Cantabrian coast and the city center of Santander.
Cash prizes for the best
The winners of both distances will be able to take home cash prizes, highlighting the €1.500 for the overall first place in the Middle Distance category y €1.000 for the first place in the Olympics.
Team prizes will also be awarded, along with gifts for veteran categories and recognition for the first Cantabrian triathlete to cross the finish line in Media.
Safety and sustainability in every kilometer
The organization —in charge of the CD Triciclo Team— has designed an event with priority on safety and respect for the environment.
The use of goats is permitted, drafting is prohibited, and there will be designated waste disposal areas at the refreshment stations. Local police, volunteers, and emergency services will be present at all circuits.
On September 21, Santander will once again vibrate with the triathlon.
With its calm sea, closed cycleways, and fast-paced footpaths, Santander is ready to offer an unforgettable day.
