The Portocolom Triathlon has opened registration for its 2026 edition, which will be held on Sunday. April 12.
The Balearic race, one of the first major events of the season in Europe, once again establishes itself as a benchmark of quality and challenge for medium-distance triathlon enthusiasts.
The limit of 600 participants, distributed among the distances 111 (1.000m swimming – 100km cycling – 10km running) and 55.5 (half of the long distance), the organization seeks to guarantee an optimal experience for both local and international athletes.
A privileged environment and a demanding route
The competition is held in Porto Colom (Felanitx, Mallorca), a unique natural enclave that triathletes fall in love with every year.
The test starts in the protected waters of the bay, continues with a demanding cycling circuit that includes a double climb to the Sanctuary of Sant Salvador, and concludes with a foot race that crosses the streets of the town, the Nautical Club and culminates with the passage through the mythical lighthouse of Portocolom, open to the public only on this occasion.
International recognition and great diversity
In 2025, the test featured 600 participants of 23 different nationalities, confirming its growing international projection. 60% of those registered were foreigners and more of 20% were women, reflecting the rise of female participation in triathlon.
An event with a local stamp
The event is organized by Kumulus and the Portocolom Triathlon Club, with the support of Felanitx Town Hall and the sponsorship of the Mallorca Turisme Foundation.
This institutional and community commitment has helped consolidate Portocolom as the venue for one of the most iconic triathlons in the Balearic Islands.
