The Trishark Narón 2025 cancelled
El Trishark Narón, one of the most emblematic tests of the calendar Galician triathlon, will not be held in 2025.
This was announced by the Board of Directors of the Nautico de Narón, along with the organizing committee, who have decided to cancel the event scheduled for July 26.
A national reference in the middle of summer
The Trishark had established itself as one of the few triathlons held in Galicia during the months of July and August, making it a very attractive stop for both local and national triathletes. In 2023, it even served as a qualifier for the Spanish Championship.
The return is planned for 2026
The organization has stated that the goal is to resume the event in 2026, maintaining its essence and quality. The club has posted a heartfelt message on social media:

A difficult gap to fill
With the cancellation of the Trishark, the Galician triathlon loses a key summer event.
For many triathletes, it was a unique opportunity to compete over a challenging distance without leaving the community. Now, a significant gap will be created, one that, for now, has no clear replacement.
