From 24 to 26 October 2025, the coastal city of Portimão, in the heart of the Portuguese Algarve, will be the setting for the TRITON Grand International Final, an event that combines the highest competitive level with a privileged natural environment.
Sun, sand, cliffs, and gastronomy combine with the world's best triathlon in an event that will bring together triathletes from more than 50 countries.
A unique format: three finals in a single event
The TRITON Final breaks away from the traditional format with an innovative proposal: for three consecutive days, the events will be held in parallel three official distances:
TRITON SPRINT
- Swimming: 1.000 m
- Cycling: 36 km
- Race on foot: 7 km
TRITON MIDDLE
- Swimming: 2 km
- Cycling: 72 km
- Race on foot: 14 km
TRITON LONG
- Swimming: 3 km
- Cycling: 108 km
- Race on foot: 21 km
In addition, the event includes a Corporate Cup for business teams, a race of legends and an event Kids Swim & Run, which turns the competition into a true triathlon celebration for all levels and ages.
World ranking and classification
The test is part of the official circuit of the TRITON World Series, which has its own system of world ranking.
Each race of the year awards points, but the final in Portimão multiplies their value by three. final ranking It is calculated by adding the three best results of the year plus the points obtained in the final.
