Next October 18 will be held the 11th edition of the Challenge Peguera Mallorca, one of the tests of middle distance most recognized in the calendar National and international.
The race, which is already close to 98% of its capacity, will count towards the National Ranking of Medium and Long Distance FETRI, which guarantees a lineup of high-level professionals and the presence of triathletes from all over Spain.
Circuits that make a difference
One of the race's main attractions is its routes, which reflect the essence of Mallorca.
The swimming competition takes place in the bay of Peguera, with a Australian-style circuit which adds spectacularity to the exit from the water.
The two-lap cycling segment combines the coast, inland towns and slopes in the area of Calvià, with a leg-breaking profile ideal for bike specialists.
The foot race, meanwhile, runs along the boulevard and promenades of Peguera, with a packed crowd turning the final 21 km into a true sporting event.
A week of activities beyond the triathlon
Challenge Peguera isn't just about competition. For almost a week, the town offers a program of activities that includes family, cultural, gastronomic and musical.
This makes the event a complete experience for both triathletes and their companions. From children's workshops to concerts, every visitor finds something of interest, consolidating the event as a project that transcends the sporting aspect.
A collective effort with more than 600 volunteers
Another pillar of the event is the involvement of the local community. More than 600 volunteers, along with residents, hotel associations, private companies, security forces, and the Balearic and Spanish federations, work hand in hand with the organization.
Thanks to this collaboration, the event maintains a level of quality each year that has made it a benchmark at the end of the season.
