Lanzarote Cycling Tour 2025: two stages to fall in love with the island

An unforgettable tour for cyclists of all levels

Next 4 and 5 October 2025 the second edition of the will be held Lanzarote Cycling Tour, a non-competitive event that is gaining strength on the national calendar for its unique atmosphere and the spectacular route that crosses all the municipalities of the island.

Organized by Club La Santa, the event has the support of the Lanzarote Island Council, Lanzarote Sports Destination, local municipalities, and the Canary Islands and Spanish Cycling Federations.

With more than 189 kilometers spread over two stages, this tour is much more than a test: it's an experience.

Each refreshment point becomes a "fan zone" with music, entertainment, and support from the local crowd, creating an unparalleled atmosphere for those taking on the challenge.

Stage 1: excitement from north to south

The test will start on Saturday, October 4th from the Club Santa, going through some 115 kilometers until you reach Puerto del Carmen.

The route includes iconic places such as Famara, Teguise, Haría, the Mirador del Río and Arrecife, with a highlight: the demanding counter-escalation of I would go to the Mirador del Río, 8,5 km long and 310 meters high.

The finish line will be at the Plaza de las Naciones, where participants will be welcomed with a festive atmosphere.

Stage 2: volcanoes, sea and physical challenge

The second stage, the Sunday October 5, will cover about 74 km and will leave from Puerto del Carmen to return to Club La Santa.

The route crosses La Geria, Las Casitas, Femés, Playa Blanca, Timanfaya and Tinajo, with two key promotions: the rise of The Little Houses in Femés (5,3 km and 170 m) and the counter-climb of Timanfaya to Mancha Blanca (12,7 km and 220 m). Volcanic and marine landscapes will accompany every pedal stroke until the final finish.

  • 07:30 a.m.: Stadium opening (Club La Santa)
  • 08:30 h: Departure Stage 1
  • 14:15 p.m. (approx.): Closing ceremony in Puerto del Carmen

Sunday October 5

  • 07:30 a.m.: Access to the exit at Plaza de Las Naciones
  • 08:30 h: Departure Stage 2
  • 13:00 p.m.: Closing ceremony at Club La Santa
