World Triathlon and the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) continue to take firm steps towards the creation of Triathlon World Toura new global circuit that aims to unify professional triathlon under a single sporting and commercial structure.
The project was one of the central themes of the World Triathlon annual internal meeting held in Marrakech, and it confirms that 2026 will be a year of transition before the official launch of the new circuit in 2027.

Beyond the calendar, the Triathlon World Tour responds to an evolution towards a less fragmented and more recognizable model, both for the general public and for sponsors and media.
The plan includes increased investment in live broadcasts and in building a continuous sporting narrative throughout the season, something that until now had only been partially achieved with independent circuits like the T100.
