Leonie Periault surprises in Hamburg and Godoy is the best Spanish woman.

After the men's event where Hausser won the victory It was now the women's race's turn. The sprint-style race produced a vibrant, eventful race.

With rain threatening during the last kilometers, the Frenchwoman Leonie Periault managed to win with a time of 56:25, surprising his compatriot Cassandre Beaugrand, the undisputed favorite before the start.

The race started with an explosive swim led by the Italian Bianca Seregni and the German Lisa Tertsch, who came out of the water first after completing the 750 meters in 9:14.

Spanish participation

The best Spanish triathlete was Anna Godoy, who completed an excellent swim and kept pace on the bike and on foot to finish in the 17 position.

Miriam Casillas, who came out of the box among the top ten in the foot race, finished in the 30.ª square. Sara Guerrero closed the national performance in the position 33.ª.
